At Bouddhanath stupa lives the largest community of Tibetans, the stupa is on several madala like floors and it is possible to walk on ground floor. More than 30 monasteries surrounds the stupa.

Swayambhunath is one of the most ancient Buddhist stupa in the world, it lies on the top of a Hill also called Monkey Temple. Swayambhu offers a panoramic view on the whole city of Kathmandu.
